Photopost #2 and some more

This is one of my favourite snaps. Clicked on the last day of Oasis, our College Fest, it seemed a befitting sunset to the fest…..going down in a blaze of glory. Its been quite some time since my last post. Well compreEs and my tumblr log(must try for newbie bloggers) are to blame for that. 4 more days of torture before redemption at the valley of god. Man, never thought I’d be so anxious to get the hell out of Pilani (coz I love Pilani too much). But this semester has been just too screwy. Speaking of that, I had such lofty aims this semester. Here’s my checklist for the semester:
Make a GPA of 10
Improve my CG as a result of a high GPA
Go for 9th time lucky
Get 9th time lucky
Put off some gajja trips (managed three of them !!!)
Get into music club [L]
Do something with belief
1. Yofa
2. Rotaract
3. Learnt more Photography techniques
4. Learnt some more guitar techniques
5. Played on Stage(Yeah!!!)
Overall I’d say, it was a brilliant semester except for the even more brilliant CompreE screwing at the hands of Maths and Physics. I just discovered this beautiful song by Jason Wade of Lifehouse from the movie, Shrek:
see the pyramids around the Nile
watch the sunrise from a tropic isle
just remember darling all the while -
you belong to me
see the marketplace in old Angier
send me photographs and souvenirs
just remember when a dream appears -
you belong to me
and I’ll be so alone without you
maybe you’ll be lonesome too
fly the ocean in a silver plane
see the jungle when it’s wet with rain
just remember till you’re home again -
you belong to me
oh I’ll be so alone without you
maybe you’ll be lonesome too
fly the ocean in a silver plane
see the jungle when it’s wet with rain
just remember till you’re home again -
you belong to me
Ran into this interesting site, Fotowoosh yesterday. Its about a software being developed to convert 2D images to 3D ones. While, right now I fail to see uses for this technology, he results are pretty good for a software in the alpha testing level.
Amongst, other things, the Yofa blog has got a breath of fresh air. Do check it out.
